    Hello,

I've just finished this - it's a really nice sculpt from Beneito. It's the first time I've painted a figure over 75mm, and I found it quite challenging - lots of gold lace, stripes on turban, design on cummerbund, etc. It's painted in Vallejo and Andrea acrylics. Hope you like it.

Great work, Edward, I love all the details and colors. The work you have made in the sash, and gold laces, is impressive.
Me too, I painted this 90mm figure long time ago. Only one thing, I think the skin tones are too pinkish or too european for a an indian. What you think?

Thanks. I used Vallejo Basic Fleshtone and Andrea Dark Leather as a basis for the flesh. I'm happy with how the skin tone turned out - I think I would use this mix again. It may look slightly darker, more brown in real life..

    Edward ,

A very nice subject and great painting with lots of very fine details ...including medals ...as a matter of interest did you have to change your techniques much when painting the larger than your normal scale ?

I like the fleshtones , look ok in the pictures , hope to be able to see soome of your work at the shows

    Thanks for sharing

    Thanks a lot guys!

Hi Nap, I didn't really change my painting technique - I approached it in the same way as a 54mm.

Your figures are always a pleasure to look at, Edward, and this one is no exception.
I particularly like the smaller details you always paint so well, like the turban and gold lace.

    Many thanks!

It's very heavy indeed, I much prefer resin at this scale!
