    Hard-working, dropped some amusing gaffes in his time, and by all accounts was a bit of a ladies' man when he was younger, with Good Queen Bess turning a blind eye. A character for sure, and one of only a handful of the royals that I have any time for (Her Maj and Princess Anne being others).

    Met him when he visited Oz and liked his approach. Open, frank, and called a spade a spade. I think some of his 'gaffes' were blown out of proportion by the media and those who are too PC or sensitive. To my mind he had a good sense of humour and was a hardworking Royal with a progressive mind who contributed so much. Sad to see him miss his 100th by a couple of months. RIP The Prince Phillip. Duty done.
