    Hi guys  !
The HOT Singapore weather, work commitments and some personal family matters got me in a painting "funk" :( so I decided to sculpt some new figures instead ! I was inspired by the colour-plates in the new Military Chronicles series on the final days of the 3rd Reich and decided to put my own personal "touch" to the troopers depicted in the colour illustrations.
The first is a tanker/ trooper wearing the SS grey winter parka. The head is from Hornet, the hands from Preiser, the boots from Verlinden and the PPsH ammo pouch from Warriors. The rest is the usual putty / paper-clip "mix".
The second is a "panzerknacker" from the same time-frame. The head and hands are from Hornet, the boots from Master-Box, the panzerschreck, anti-tank ammo and hand grenades from Dragon and the helmet from Tank. Similarly, the usual putty / paper-clip method was used to realise the figures.
As always, thanks for looking and here's to COOLER weather all round ;) !!! Cheers !

    Hi Yeo,

Those plates look fine. Could you please provide additional info on these books, and where to find them?

    Thanks,

    Daniel

    Hi Dani  !
I got mine from Hobbyterra (www.hobbyterra.com). Their prices are reasonable and they accept Paypal as well as credit cards. The books are basically in Cyrillic but the photo captions have English translations. HTH. Cheers !

Terrific work. Full of Charachter. The guy with the panzerschreck reminds me of the Schnurrbart charachter from the movie Cross of Iron

    Hi Kenneth!

I think these two figures and especially the carrier of the panzerschrek is the best youve done.

Very nice figures, Kenneth! I noticed in your earlier work that you really seemed to have a touch for sculpting winter clothing, but you've surpassed yourself in these two! I particularly like little touchs like the cover over the helmet - that's perfect. And the stance of the guy beating his arms to try to keep warm. Excellent!

    All the best,
    Dan

    Hi Dan !
Thank you very much for the positive comments ; I really appreciate them  !!!
I suppose the hot weather here in Singapore was partly the reason behind me sculpting so many winter-clothing clad figures. "Escape by proxy" ;) !!! Cheers !
