    It keeps me motivating.

    Pete: I used cadmium red as base color from winsor, rose dore alizarine from Rowney artists color, to darken the red more to the bodem of the figure the first time, Prussian green for the first shadows, and a little black for the darker ones, highlighted with cadmium scarlet what is a little orange and hightlight more with a little touch of white. All is done whet on whet. For the groundwork I used the little base in the kit and worked it out with magic sculpt, painted it and put on some tuffs of grass and little flowers that can be bought in the better model store, and used some of my oils on the grass, with a larger brush. That's it.

    Thanks Eddy. Many renditions of red uniforms have a brown looking color for shadows. I really like how you do it.
