    Hey Guys!

Haven't really been posting much lately, kind of met a new girl and havent had a whole lot of time to do things. Anyways, Im following up on the subject "Brothers of War" with a couple of freed concentration camp prisoners shortly after their rescue. Slightly controversian subject but it cannot be forgotten. Sculpted with Magic Sculpt with a Verlinden head and another resin head that I dont know the origin of (Thanks Jason :) ) All comments are welcommed!

Anders, does this mean modelling will be taking a back seat for a while

That's very well done, I think the attitude ( the body language) of the whole piece is spot on (y)

Someone's gonna ask, what's the orange stuff, it looks as though you spilled your dinner on it

    Hi Anders

    Glad to see you again!

Agree with Leigh on the body language, very sympathetic to the subject. Very nicely done and the male head really works

    Have fun ;)

    Hey Guys!

Thanks for the replies :) I was really worried that the pose wouldnt work, but it seams like it worked out. I am really glad that what I tried to show (the humanity, rough times, wore out, seriousness) came through and you guys acctually saw it.

The orange stuff is Testors Red Putty, thinned with Testors Glue (Thanks John!! )
to cover up small scratches etc. The funny thing was that the stuff got so rock hard that the steel wool had a hard time to sand it off, hench the mess, it really looks bad in the pics before priming, but it also works like a charm.

As for modelling taking the back seat...hmmm...no!! She is acctually very supportive and atleast acts like she is really interested in it, which is a big plus. As matter of fact, Im sculpting a horse head for her after she tried a couple of times and then threw it at me saying you do it!
