I think they should issue those guns to the TSA if they are so lethal.

It's about time we had a ministry of common sense in this counrtry to police these idiots.

Confiscated as a threat, no.

Confiscated for bad paint, yes.

Long before 9/11, I used to run dive trips and encouraged carry-on only so you didn't have to spend a week with rental gear in case of the inevitable lost luggage. Problem was, everyone usually showed up with their dive knife, so I was always stuck with retrieving a box of assorted knives from the baggage claim.
