In a bizarre twist of reality my mate Tish has asked me to re-paint her Dracula figure!
He stands at the front of her gothic/horror themed guest house here in Whitby.

Due to a past attack on a guests car drac is firmly attached to a paving slab and filled with sand so he will be renovated in situ :)

First job will be washing and scrubbing all the old paint off!

Hmm, how could a fictional and undead character be life-size? ;P

There are quite a few excellent (perfect actually) 1:1 dracula head sculpts around in the market, if you feel like upping the stake.

    Hi Mark
As Dracula only comes out at night will you have to paint him in the dark?

    Hi everyone :)

I enjoyed all the stake and holy jokes, But you missed Re-Vamping! :)

So we finally got it all together today and I got to it with rattle cans....

Tomorrow I'm decanting some color and will do some brush work to tighten it up, then add some detail to the face and hands :)
