Plugging away at the MG Gunner has got me this far, I love this part where you atart to add the details and things start falling into place.
I recently watched the 1985? newsnight special "D-Day to Berlin" on the BBC IPlayer and I remember a veteran saying that they had a load of German POWS in a group and he could still remember the smell of all the leather equipment...

I've deliberately used slightly different mixes for each item made of leather to try and add a bit of visual interest... or something lol

Anyhoo, laters...

Finished the basic paint on the MG gunner, next is to sort the groundwork and a bit of light weathering, mainly the boots and the hem of the coat...

oh and some more matt varnish
