Thanks a lot for all the nice words guys!

sorry for this late reply: I've been on a holliday in Turkey the last two weeks...

Hello Gino! Mmm, she's not that fond of diamonds (where did I find that girl?), so I better take good competition with me to the show... You'll see what I'm talking about!

Mike, you were more than worthy already 15 years ago! :)

Hello Bob You are right: the spokes were woven through drilled holes in the tire. I'll send you the photo's I've learned the technique from by email, since they explain it much better than my words ever could.

Thanks a lot Djoubri! Telling a little story is indeed the essence of wha I try to do with every model.

Hello Rudi! Yes, the Aber set is great! It offers everything to bring great finesse to the Tamiya cycles, which are already great kits in themselves. And when using an Aber set, no-body is obliged to actually use ALL the parts if one doesn't feel like it... So I would say: go for it, but don't use what you feel to be too much.
If you are doing German bike, I think the Tamiya bikes are very close. I encountered some pics of WW1 german bikes while researching this fig, and they look almost the same as the WW2 ones. Just check lights and brakes arranements and the extent of the ront mudguard over the front wheel to make sure.

Thanks Paulo! That's the guy indeed! He models in often very different and interesting ways indeed.

Thanks Kevin! I'm sorry, but I won't be going to TnT this year, as probably none of the KMK...

Hello Samuel! If I could trust you to really add those two years to my own life, we would have a deal! See you in Torrent!

Thanks Peter! I hope to get it ready by AMSS but I still have to do the groundwork and some details. See you there!

Thanks again everybody, and best wishes!

    Hi Marijn,

Rumours go that also models of Gianfranco Speranza (and the man himself) will be at the show. Together with you, Marion and Allan and Hardy it will be impossible for us simple modellers to get a good result. But I don't care as I will be able to admire a lot of great models.

See you at AMSS and say hi to Pinar for me,

    Gino

    Hello Gino!

yes, it was Gianfranco I was talking about...
Is Hardy coming after all then?
I hope Mark Lerach and Konrad Schulte will make it also!

Mmm, maybe the "results" in terms of medals are low when the level is high at a competition, but the results in fun at the show, learning new things and getting inspired is boosted so much by it! I hope this year will be the best AMSS show yet!

See you there, and best wishes to Rita!

    Marijn and Gino,

As far as i heard from Ramir Hereyghers, Hardy isn't coming. That was about 4 weeks ago. It felt for Ramir as an thunderstriken by clear sky.
But if Gianfranco is coming it will be great .
Konrad Schulte is definitely coming even Marion and Alan Ball.
Marijn there is enough competition don't you think ?? But we are all there to learn from eachother. Competition is not the first thing, but friendship, talking and leaarning that's in my opinion the first. thing...

    Costas,

Gino goes, because he is a member of our club AMSS and he is still at the vendor site with his "figure shop".
