    Hi Peter:

I presume this Chain mail trio is in 54mm? I just love the composition of
    this vignette. Very well done.

Hi Peter as Rick has said the composition is very appealing and gives the impression that they are pretty much defending all flanks. Nice work on the figures and i look forward to seeing this one painted.

    Excellent work.
I suggest that you define the chainmail some more.

A great set up all three figures work well together , the only one thing I would point out is the helmet on the figure in the middle of the first picture , in the second picture it looks out of shape , to high and to rounded if you take a look a thread by Ernest . Hospitalor Knight . you'll see it should be lower and flater , other wise great stuff .

Thanks for the comments guys much appreciated
In response to the specific questions/ comments
Rick Yes its 54mm (more like 60mm actually)
Marc I had a look at some chain mail recently and was suprised how fine it is, if anything I think I've got it a bit overscale in definition
Gordon I was trying to depict an earlier form of helmet on this figure. My research on the armour at the time of the 3rd crusade indicated that many knights were still wearing a more domed shape helmet with a nasel bar, however I take your point I'm not sure it looks right

marc having looked at the chain mail again I can see what you're getting at I will rectify it before painting
