    Hi! I'm Lucas, from Brazil.
I started painting miniatures about a year and a half ago, in may/19.
I got into the hobby mostly because I wanted to play my tabletop rpgs with cool looking minis, but over the months I started drifting towards larger models.
Here are some of the minis i painted over my journey, from the very first to the very last:

Welcome to the Planet, Lucas! Very nice miniatures! Do you use mostly acrylics?

    Prost!

Hello everyone, thanks for the welcome!

I seem to have fallen in love with busts... soon they'll be busting out of my mini cabinet, i'm sure!

    :oops:you're too kind!

thanks a lot, brad! So far i've only used acrylics, ranging from cheap/crappy local crafts paints to my now favorites kimera and scale artist ranges!

I use craft store paints, too, brands sold here in the US, along with Andrea and Vallejo. The craft store brands aren't bad at all, really, and they're also good for weathering and base or diorama work, besides using them on figures or ordnance. The only thing I wouldn't do with them is airbrush them. I tried it, and found their pigments a little too coarse for that application.

I asked because you've got some nice rich colors there, especially the blues and reds. Very nice!

    Prost!
