Hi guys! Here's a few pics to update my progress on this figure. I've been having fun with all that gold lace, though it was challenging. The face, epaulettes, and most of the metallic gold areas (buttons, etc.) are only undercoated. Thanks for looking!

You know Green, I see this and I have a thought for you.........have you ever considered painting miniatures? You know, maybe military or historical miniatures, I'm pretty sure there's a decent selection out there, and I think you'd be very good at it! Just a thought.........................................DAMN!

Thanks for the positive feedback guys!
Karsten - I use carmine red, toned down with green. I use napoleonic green, from Andrea, but any medium to dark green should work. To shade, just add more green, you can add a touch of black for the deepest shadows. Highlight with scarlet, also toned down with just a touch of green.
Jay - Not a bad idea you have there, I may have to consider it! Seriously though, thanks! You going to be making Atlanta this year?

Jason, you know you have ruined this fgure for cr@p painters like me, right? ;) Another amazing paint job, I only wish Santa had brought me some skill with a paint brush along with all of the figures he left under my tree yesterday

Thanks Matthew . . . and if you have this one, you should give it a go. Just make sure you have the optivisor handy for all the gold lace! Glad to hear Santa hooked you up this year.
