    He Rocco,

My friend, i almost fell in love with this fellow. But i must say there is something with this guy i feel uncomfortble with. That is his looks. I really don't like the look of his eyes. It is from the beginning that i don't like the look of his eyes. I cannot say why, but that's the way it is.
Further an incredible nice painted figure. Great work, colours, everything is great, but the eyes.........

Roc's painting is excellent, but I agree there's just something about this figures facial area - for me it's not the eyes, it's the cheeks, the way they bulge. The guy could well have been overweight (officers at this time were often self-indulgent rich and high-born) and too fond of his beer. It just looks kinda odd.
Not trying to take anything away from a well finished model, it just jumps out at me every time I see it.!

Thank you very much guys for all the kind words, they are appreciated.

It is very easy to paint a well sculpted figure, The credit must go to Kamil, he created a very good sculpture for me to paint.

Kamil, bravissimo and a big thank you. ;)

I think you are right Dave. the more i look at it, the more the cheeks are bulging.
    That must be it.
But Rocco did a tremendous paintjob on this figure.
