Hi all. This is my first conversion in 75mm and my first important conversion of uniform. In this case this is bassed in Elite Miniatures confederate officer. This figure comes as Confederate officer with overcoat and short cape. Is decided to change it to one Union officer in another kind of overcoat following one uniform that appears at American CW Volume 1 (Infantry) of A. Jouineau and JM Mongin (H&C publisher).

The first thing that I did was to elongue the overcoat. Then I changed the boots to trousers. When I finished it I supress the bottons and put some cords. Finaly I change the prismatic box band and the pocket decoration.

I used a mix of magic sculpt plus duro (light green) an d directly duro in some cases (dark green).

I must now to make a band over the trousers and also the shoes coords.

    Regards,
    Rafa

The belt buckle is gigantic. Well done, but way big. An officer would most likely wear the eagle and wreath square buckle, though nothing is written in stone about this.

If that was intended as a slam of British criticism, Reyes, you missed. American, rafa. Still of the mark.
