Hi Guys,

Having worked on the two Austrian Pandours previously released by Mookies Miniatures, I've been inspired to produce a third one - Carlstadt Pandour, 1742. 1/9 scale approx, using the head from one of my Greek busts as a basis, with additions in Milliput. Still much to do.... based on the Osprey illustrations.

Hi Kev, glad you like it so far - no real secret in using Milliput. Mix, apply, roughly shape, smooth off with an old brush and water, let it go off for about 10 mins, then back in with refining and smoothing with various shaped tools to crisp everything up.......

Hi Kev - its all in one piece, but the shadow of the hood is deceptive. The face is more accessible for painting than it looks!!

Finally finished this one. Hope you like the pic!

May I ask how do you fix the lead (or tin?) wire to the putty?

Thanks Eppi - I only use superglue, nothing special! I squeeze a little bit onto a scrap piece of paper, then apply it with a pin, so as not to get it everywhere!
