P1120717.JPG Hi Guys,I have just finished painting this 1/6th scale Light Horseman. The bust was sculpted by Phil Walden.I have painted the bust in Vallejo acrylics and artists oils. I used artists oils for the leather areas.I very much enjoyed painting him.Hope you like him.

Absolutely cracking paint job John. The sweat is a nice touch.
I remember wearing that type of headgear when i was doing my square bashing in the RAAF in the 70's.

    Hi John,

Great to see another finished piece from you & even better to see it's one of Phil's creations. Like the flesh tone you've achieved with acrylics plus photos really show this guy off.

Trust things have started to settle down, though 10000+ shakes has got to wear you down.

Stay safe & thoughts with you all.

Great and natural looking fleshtones, John. The simulated sweat is a nice extra.

Hi John, very nice work on this bust. Love the sweat beads, although I'd like to see maybe more sweat stains around the hat band perhaps, unless the pics dont show this up? cheers Les
