Tony, great work on a brilliant model. You have portrayed the 'Digger' really well.

    Thanks Dennis,

I do love painting my diggers. I'm quite happy painting Romans and other historical periods because they are just figures to me, but the digger is someone I know and respect personally. I'm sure its the same for you with the Squaddie/ Tommy!!

    Hi Tony,
Another fine example for you collection, well done. Phil certainly sculpted some nice pieces, my personal favourite from him is the Dingo Harris figure.
    cheers

    Hi,
Thanks for that, I may just get one of those in the future.(y) I don't want to hijack Tony's thread, but another favourite character of mine from watching the film is Breaker Morant. Do you know if a model has been produced in this scale.
    cheers
    Richie

    Hi Richie,

Thanks for your comments mate. The latest Phil Walden figure is one in a long line of ANZAC's sculpted over many years, including Dingo Harris, which are available through Oz Mods. I'm not sure if there are any figures or busts of Harry "Breaker" Morant available commercially, but I agree he would make an excellent subject for a sculpt. Apart from anything, I would be good to have a few more figures representing the Boer War than there are presently.
