Its a mat where the grass is already attached - you just cut to shape then glue down.

Evening all - quite a milestone tonight - the main complex is now assembled - still needs the floor weathering and the outside garden shed/house assembling (will do some more figure work first).

Looking good. Will you add sand or such, or paint the ground in a muddy or sandy colour?

Evening all - some good progress I applied several dark washes of Earth Shade then when dry my go to AK acrylic dust dry brushed over.

I also decided to add some more figures - some more 2nd KGL sharp shooters, aslo Major Baring on his horse instructing his men to charge through the opened front doors, and Captian Graeme leading the charge.

That's looking good. To be honest, I keep forgetting that this is 28mm... I'm used to 1/35 for dioramas, and bigger for figures.

Thank you kindly Henk, also as more figures are added then the scenery - it will look quite good (I hope)

Evening all, starting to get more figure work done on what was a really stressful day - didn't think I would get anything done - but it was a good distraction and took my mind of things.

Oh, those troops rushing through the gate adds a real dash of action and urgency to it. Are they fixed, or are you still playing ... I mean considering final positions

    Hopefully the stress was sorted.

Evening all, more painting going on - this time the faces were painted using a proprietary flesh colour - then some pinky/red for the cheeks, then my wash using Agrex Earth Shade, then I picked out the high lights with a warmer flesh colour, then a few "Toshes" were painted on followed by a few shades for their hair cuts.
