Then I've been fiddling with Andrea kit Napoleon a Fontainblau 1814.

I got this at S&L from Carl ( Housecarl ) and I just love the pose and the sculpt!

    This is a back-burner project :)

I think Napoleon should be first , that is one figure covert.

All others as usual up to you great standard.

    Chris

PS.I'd love to see your takes on. Youngs Flying Tigers 1942 and Life miniatures German 6th Army Stalingrad 1942.

I have the Nappie set to go too. My wife wants him painted sepia as a gift. If I get around to moving him up the list, I am not copying you :)

    Good start.

    High Mark,
I remember converting the AIRFIX 1:12 Napoleon to copy the Delaroche painting not long after He'd finished his version (it seems). ;)
I really enjoyed making this change using DAS clay.....eventually it stopped shrinking and cracking. I hope that you enjoy this version as much. As always a great start Mate and I am looking forward to your SBS progress.
    Cheers Mate,
    Keith

Chris .... Sorry :( Lots of commissions keeps me from personal projects, but I will be working on nap as I find the time :) prep has been an education as I ain't been near a white metal kit for years :) Both of those kits are on my to do list LOL!

Colin ... Oh go for it! It is a lovely piece :) ... ;)

Pedro ... Thanks mate :) It is! :)

Keith ... Ah that story reminds me of my attempt at the 2001 Pan-am space clipper reboxed by Airfix many years ago! I ended using car filler to try and fill the grand canyon of a gap down the main hull, utter failure! LOL! And thanks :)

So a bit of an update and some pics of another backburner!

First Those Alpine figs have progressed :) Woot!

Hello Mark, Great painting on all the Alpine figures, your Napoleon figure, and the Vassili bust. The face on the helmeted version of Vassili is incredible!!! Extremely realistic. I'm looking forward to seeing your Napoleon when finished, it is a great looking figure. Best of luck with all your ongoing projects. Regards, SG:happy:
