The first five photos depict an extremely rare Adrian Italian model 1915-16. It belonged to a gunner of a company St.Etienne , as you can see from the frieze of sleeve fabric, glued, as often happened at that time, above the frieze painted black. What makes it unique and exceptional this helmet, in addition to its characteristics, is the fact that it was part of the memorabilia of a gunner of an Italian company "St.Etienne" who had fought on the French front before getting on Dosso Faiti, October 27, 1927, just when Austrian troops launched their assault that was to bring the Italian Army to the "Defeat of Caporetto" .

The soldier Marino Giglioni from Masciano Papiano (Perugia), nb. 392, belonging to the 594 ° machine gun company, was decorated with the silver medal just 27 October 1917 for his behavior in Dosso faiti, as described in the grounds: "no incitement, a magnificent example of military virtue to instill courage in the last defenders of the position, remained standing on shattered trench glaring with his rifle closest assailants - Dosso Faiti, 27 October 1917. "
The gunners armed with Saint Etienne were distinguished by the insignia blue-white, while the gunners armed with Fiat had insignia bianco.rosse.
The helmet, built in only two pieces welded together, still has the original brown leather upholstery. The frieze of St. Etienne, which had been pasted on the original frieze painted black is now separate from the helmet.
Several other examples are also posted following the table.
