A bit more weathering and more work on the groundwork and he'll be finished.

Brian your work never disappoints and is always inspirational. And it sometimes ends up costing me money, because I now want to get hold of this one and have at it. It's a lovely piece.

    Hi Kevin
The armour is quite straightforward.I've used a few different techniques painting armour. This fella was painted in a couple of coats of Dark Stars Baroque acrylic metal paint, and then using a mix of Lamp Black and Burnt Umber i applied this mix over the armour, using no thinner.I then took a piece of kitchen paper towel and started taking it off, which will give you a nice metal tone.Once this dries,i use the Baroque for the highlights, and Lamp Black for the shading.Voila!

Seriously though, fine work, painting convincing armour on a 90mm gives nowhere to hide.
This'll bring this figure to the attention of lots of people who missed its release.
I take it he's a Scot (work it out folks)
