    Hi all,
I have just completed this classic figure from Hornet. This is painted in life colour acrylic. The Roman ruins are from Reality & Scale, thanks to Carl House. These have been painted using acrylic with airbrush and some pigments used for dusting. The only thing left to do is the sling for the rifle which I will do over the weekend.

This is set in Libya, Leptis Magna 1942. I think this is right, I am no expert on the British.
As you can see, it is not a German which is what I normally spend my time painting!!

Hope you like it, please feel free to comment - Good or Bad.

    Thanks, Sam B

    Hi! Sam.
    The wonderful scene.
    A ruin is very effective.
I think it's making them emphasize a figure.
I think the painting of your figure is also wonderful.
    Hornet's figure is quite small.
When the thing is considered, you have built it into a wonderful work.

    You're right, that's a classic figure - but you've finished it superbly.

    Lovely base work (y)

Sam no negative comments from me just positive, figure looks great as does the scenery.

Good to see you painting an allied subject, there are so many German figures on the market that there is a real risk future generations will think that WW2 was a German civil war and that no other nations were involved :D
