Two 1/6th figures I recently completed.

The first is a Private of the Glosters from their famous stand on the Imjin river in Korea in April of 1951. He wears the 1947 type BD, 1944 webbing , and is armed with the No.4 rifle.
This is based on photos from before and after the action. He's also wearing the new heavy-duty pullover, which I made from a sock !
    He's a reservist, a veteran of WW2 .

The uniform is a modified commercial one from DiD, the webbing, beret etc are all homemade.

The second figure is from the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry in Malaya in 1951 , a National Serviceman doing his bit.
The outfit is cobbled together from a wide variety of sources. The hard part if is the ( working ) 1944 webbing, which has to be made from scratch.

He has the No.5 Jungle Carbine, machete, bayonet etc, and his ammo is in the cotton bandolier round his waist. From original photos.
