    This figure is based on the painting by Don Trioani in his book regiments and uniformsof the civil war.
    The figure is scratch built with a historex head and is armed with Gary Dumbrowski's finely sculpted musket

    Pete, It's neat to see someone do a zouave. The uniform should be a darker blue and the 155th's M1842 muskets were replaced at Gettysburg with M1861Springfields that had been gathered up from the battlefield. It's nit picky stuff but don't let it take away from the good time you no doubt had building it.~Gary

    Thanks for the comments Gary I too had read about them replacing their muskets with springfields gathered from the battlefield, perhaps this guy wasn't lucky enough to find one.
    Looks like he's going to have to wait for you to sculpt a springfield its byond my capabilities
