Hello Gents!
I'd like to present a progress in sculpting a new figure for D-Day Miniature Studio. It is not an SBS because I am not far from the end, but maybe it will be interesting for you. It is a British or Commonwealth Infantryman in 1/35 scale. Hope you like it.


I will finish him for ca. 1,5 week, because I have to paint his earlier companions for a box art:

D-Day Miniature Studio means you are dedicated to making WW2 figures only? Any chance of venturing into different time periods?

Hi Pawel this british soldier is fantastic......i hope to see his companion very soon......as soon as they will be ready .i ll buy for sure them, directly from you as i usually did.......;there is the possibility that youll realize more british soldiers maybe another pair at rest or leaning tto a wall or tree, to realize a little dioramas with four or five your british soldiers???

So many marvellous German sculptures of this period - great to see some 'Tommies' for a change!

Perhaps some French figures next?

Hi Pawel great figure and wonderful to see more British figures lovely sculpt and the pose ,I was showing my dad pictures of differnt sculpts on the site .He landed in Normandy ,there was one thing he noticed with a lot of sculpts ,to quote " we lived in holes in the ground not all the time but conditions were dire ,uniform became scruffy very quickly became messed up very often trousers very often would not stay in gaiters chest pouches were very often not perfectly formed ,my dad carried a walther P38 camo parachute used for scarfs we constantly improvised "

Thank You guys for your very kind comments, this is always a big support for further work. Taff thank you very much for your Dad's remarks, they are very precious for me.
I am planning a few british/commonwealth figures for next months. After that will see what further, there are so many interesting themes to do, an day has only 24 hours.

Hello Pawel, I like all three figures that you posted. They all look excellently sculpted, with very crisp details, and drapery to the uniforms. Would love to see a bren-gunner among your british walking set. Do you sculpt in any other scale? These three are great, and should do very well for you. Congrats, and Regards, SG

Hello Pawel, I'm glad you liked the photo. When I saw your new walking figure, it reminded me of it. I'm also very interested to see how your bren-gunner turns out, if you decide to sculpt one. I've been campaigning to see a bren-gunner in 1/24th, or 1/16th, scale for some time now. That being said, I will have to change my optivisor lens to a 10x power one, so I can paint these great looking figures, I definitely will be purchasing them.
