  • Hi Steve,

Happy New Year to you too mate. Right now I'd happily exchange our heat and humidity for a bit of cold and wet. We've had weeks of really hot weather and no rain for 6 months. Keep warm mate and best wishes for the year ahead. Happy modelling.

    Hi Steve,

Thanks for posting the WW1 pics on VBench. The second one is closer to what I'm looking for, but I'll send you some more photos in a day or two which should help you find the right one.

Rather than exchange photos via Planet Figure, could I email them to you instead?? I don't want to show any photos of this piece until its ready for submitting to the Chief Competition.

My email address is [email protected]

    Regards

    Tony
    Hi Seve,

Thanks mate. As for WW1 pics, you may find an old B/W or sepia photo looks OK, if you adjust the photo to match. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

    Hi Steve:

I do appreciate your kind words, mate. I definitely agree that the main thing with this
is to find enjoyment with it. Yes, as an artist I am critical of my work, but I really do
have a lot of fun with this hobby; and have made friends of some very good
    people over the years. rick
Hey Mr. Pepper. You are welcome. I got you down as a "freind". Wow, mate, you are one
hell of an artist. I just wish I could paint figure half as good as you can. Plus, as I have
said in the forum post, your photos are really of such high quality. Wow. The Jayhawker
    Steve,

Thanks so much for doing the backgrounds on those two figures for me. It's something I've wanted to do for years and just never had the ability to do.

You've posted a very impressive body of work on your Vbench over the past couple of days and to be honest, I'm still working my way through them all.

Keep up the good work mate.

    Regards

    Tony
