A lover of all things history. Painting models since I was a small child. Discovered miniatures after visiting the Irish model soldier society show many years ago....passionate about figures ever since...my collection is varied covering a range of historical subjects most painted by myself and some commission's painted by Debra Raymond.....I was given some painting tuition over 3 days by Debra at her home in Exeter...also in my collection I have a small number of St.Petersburg figures which I purchased when I was lucky to attend the World expo in Boston in 2005. My favourite kits are from Pegaso, Romeo and Andrea miniature's...although over the last few years I have discovered other excellent kit's from Alexandro,Nuts Planet and Metal Models and others. Most of my kits I purchase online as there isn't any local figure supplier's in Dublin unfortunately. I think my painting skills are average but need a lot of improvement to reach the level of skill displayed at miniature shows and here on Planet Figure. I'm not a member of any miniature figure clubs so the Internet has become my main source of figure new's and inspiration for me. Well that's my modelling story...it's my hope to become more active on Planet Figure to improve my skill level and maybe in time to help others in this fascinating hobby...thanks for reading...Interact
