Hi Glenn, would you like to be my 'buddy' ?M my father came from Paisley a very long time ago and I still have relatives in the town. I always go to study the war memorial when I am in town as I want to model it oneday. Dreams eh! best wishes Tom
    G'day Glen,

Thanks for the birthday wishes mate and I hope to buy you a beer at EuroMilitaire later this year.

    Cheers

    Thanks Glen,
I shall seek out Danilos book, the nightmare i had with this piece was the glengarry dicing, i am contemplating stripping the head again, i dont want to do the whole workman blaming his tools thing , but i dont have much experience with true 54mm, the last JMD figure i painted was the british tommy which was quite a lot larger and turned out much better, that said this hobby is all about pushing personal boundaries, so i will keep trying , have ordered a 54mm trench vignette from andrea so should get plenty of practice with that !!, i really like your groundwork it is much more indicitive of 1914, i just wanted to go to town with barbed wire etc, how is Alberta this time of the year, have spent several "interesting summers" sweating on the prairie at suffield, it is a great place and truely a place of extremes!, thanks for taking the time to PM me and well done with your figure , really inspiring stuff

    Best Regards
    Kirky
    Hi Glenn,

I got both your messages mate, thanks.

I'm pleased to hear you're making good progress with the Scottish King, I can't wait to see what you've done to him.

    Cheers
