Figure painting has been my paramount hobby since the early 80's.
I loved the spectacle of Napoleonic uniforms and the era of history especially the Prussians, whom I had never come across before. This lead me to discover the Seven Years War. Going back further I came across Landsknecht and the Confederation during the renaissance.
As well as the figures I like to read about the history surrounding these events to better understand the context that these people existed within. More recently I have explored the fantasy world as more of these figures become available.
I have painted figures of all scales from 6mm to 1/10th scale busts.
I select figures that interest me and the media I use is dependent on its scale, 56mm and below acrylics and above oils.Interact
