      Ray, hello Carl, I have an Idea for a future project, I viewed it on Robert Chapman's military illustrations site, under galleries 18th century, Ticonderoga 1758, a Rogers rangers, it would be nice to see this done in 75mm. Thanks for your time Ray Mootsey

      Carl;
      James Bama is great ! .. you might want to look up some of Frank Macarthy's work also he too has a dramatic sense of the West. Check out some of the bronze work of James Nathan Muir .....also superb.

      BTW As an ex-pat (Manchester - the Blue side) are you a Brummie or Villa fan ?

      As a fellow sculptor/modeller (Pony Soldier Miniatures) I must congratulate you on your ability in creating superb composition in your figures. You have a knock for realism in your work. My most sincere admiration for your work.

      I wish you continued success.

        Thanks Terry! I'm glad you like them!

        I feel the key is realism myself, I cut my teeth looking and admiring artists like James Bama, and as you know oozed realism. it's the thing that floats me more than anything else!
        If yuo can close to real your halfway there!

        Cheers agin buddy!

      Hi Carl,

      I have your kit from Model Cellar of Queen Victoria Rifles. I am looking for some uniform info. Like color, what the ensigna's are on the sleeve, the type of rifle this is. I am not a huge military buff. but I enjoy reading and learning about the figure or bust I am painting. I tried to Google and Google Image and not real successful. So I thought maybe you could point me in the right direction. Thanks Dee Moore

      G'day Carl,

      I'm very pleased to see Stampede is now for sale and appears to be doing well. It really is a wonderful piece of 3-D art and deserving of all the praise it has received.

      Cheers mate

      I've been a long time fan of your work Carl. Have painted and sold more of your busts than any other manufacturer. Glad to see you still producing great figures. I ordered the Stampede this morning. Awesome piece.
