      Hi Barrie congrats on your win. Very well painted piece and excellent you won the 3 awards.
      I might try an Historical next year as I seem to get nowhere with the WW2. I don't know if they think a 200mm figure is easier to paint than a smaller version. That big fella took me about 5 months to do. Call it sour grapes but he came third. The figure that beat him was the brown horse with the rider who had black splodges for eyes that weren't even matching in size or symmetry.......absolutely crazy. I'd love to hear how the Judges came to that decision.
      Anyways that's my moan until next year!Lol.

      I remember you said your flesh was oils. I noticed the cheiftain had a very matt appearance on his flesh tones. Did you use acrylics or add a matt medium for this effect?
