Mine is done already by a sculptor from Korea.
It's based on a pic of US infantry during the winter of 45
in Germany somewhere. Heavy winter gear...

So I guess we are not making the same figure here.

Hi Andy,

I've got a numer of colour pics of the 10th Australian Light Horse re-enactors which you are welcome to if you need more reference material. My wife and I are both members and we participate in the ANZAC Day parade in full LH regalia.

I can't wait for you to finish this figure so I can get my hands on it. I've had the Fusiliers kit of the Light Horseman for years, but have struggled to finish it.
