    Some more colour blocking in plus some detailing, really enjoying him.

    Does anyone know the colours of the rosette on his bicorne for this period before 1800, I know it is red,white and blue but in which order as I have seen so many combinations......Thanks.

    Hi Geoff. ....I've just started this one as well ...for my reference I'm using Osprey French Revolutionary Infantry 1789 - 1802....some of the illustrations show two bands of white.....from the outside ..in....white. red. white. blue centre......hope this helps...all the best. Mike..(y)

    As for cockades ..variations here's a few I picked up , some made of cloth,painted metal, even paper !
