Another Cheshire Volunteer figure found its way into my GA recently.
    This time it’s an S.A.S. Trooper, N.W. Europe, 1945.
The wall is some chunks of Milliput which I had from a previous project that failed to materialise, and the tree trunk is from a series of resin tree trunks / branches that I got from MDP a long while ago.
Painting of the figure is mainly Humbrol enamels for the clothing etc, and oils for the face and woodwork on the gun.

Lovely paint job Andrew - the camouflage smock looks excellent, & the woodwork & gunmetal on the Thompson are superb.

Thanks for your kind comment Bob.
I class Cheshires with Chotas and Hornets. I won't necessarily buy them, but I'll always have a closer look.

I can't answer your question on CV miniatures. Unfortunately, the catalogue entry on PF's 'Mirofsoft' site has only a page entry on the catalogue site. You can find it here:-
    https://www.mirofsoft.com/nostalgia-old-catalog-pdf/
It's an excellent source of information, which I visit regularly (Many thanks Mirofsoft).
If you scroll down, you'll find Chota Sahib. Download the first entry, and you'll find the 'TF' range (Task Force ?).
There are five of these shown (one is S.B.S.). All are OOP, but you can search for them here on PF, or on 'fleabay'.
    Happy hunting.

    Hi Kevin,

Thanks for looking, and taking the time to comment. Much appreciated.
The beret was painted Humbrol Pale Stone (#121).
The actual colour is nothing like that shown in the Humbrol paint chart, but tends to a beige.
It's also one of my 'go to' colours when painting groundwork.

    Cheers,
    Andrew
