    Hi Guys

As if I haven't got enough on my shelves of shame all in various states of WIP , now a total of 25

So I thought I would add another ...this is of course Yul Brynner in the role of the King of Siam in the film THE KING AND I

I picked this up from flea bay at a bargain price ....bit of prep needed , replaced the earing but now its primed and basecoated , eyes done

Still work to do on the eyes !!!

Here are some of the reference I will be using

    Nice start.

Wan't he so unpopular with other cast members that they used to scatter tacks across the stage for his bare feet?

Wow, always loved Yul and I truly believe "The Hood" from the Thunderbirds was formed after Brenners likeness.

That was only one of the many pop culture in-jokes that Gerry and Sylvia Anderson shoehorned into their shows.
Now, who was "Lady Penelope" based on?

    Congrats.
It was indeed easy enough - if you'r a fan of, and familiar with, 1960's pop culture.
