After quite a while lurking on this forum and admiring the models of PF members I’ve eventually managed to get my finger out and join. Thank to Richie and Keith for their encouragement and posting some of my work. I’ll take some more photos soon of recent work and post them too. Looking forward to communicating with you nd joining in the discussions

Welcome to the forum. Your work is absolutely beautiful and I'm glad you decided to join!
I do have question concerning one of your pieces of work that was posted earlier by another forum member. Is the three figure vignette of the two British Light Infantrymen with the captured French flag and dead French Color Bearer a kit or something you sculpted? I saw a piece very similar to that at this year's MFCA show.

Scott, Terry visits the MFCA every year so it is quite probable that you have seen some of these pieces. Make sure you say hello next year, you may of course already know him.

Hi Scott, yes that is the piece you will have seen at MFCA this year, I try and go every year to meet up with friends. It was sculpted by my good friend Adam MacMaster and painted by myself. The scene depicts Sgt Masterson and Captain Keogh with a captured French flag at the battle of Barossa in the Peninsula. You may have seen some of these other pieces too.

Thank you, Keith. It must have been his work then. That vignette was displayed with another wonderful one of two British 60th Rifles figures. Both vignettes were exceptional and it was a true pleasure to see them in person. I normally work the entrance table at the show, so I'll be keeping my eye out for him!

Scott, I can’t take any credit for the 60th Rifles vignette, it was both sculpted and painted by Adam MacMaster. Hope to see you at the show next year. I took one of my son in laws to the show this year and he totally loved it enjoying the company of so many interesting people. I may even have a novice to train up.

Encouraging young people is wonderful! We need all the new blood we can get as a hobby.
I will be on the look out for you at the show next year, too. Have you ever come to the hospitality room during the past shows you attended?

Hi Scott, yes I always make a point of popping into the hospitality room for a chat and a drink after show. In previous years I will have had two of my friends with me, Steve Kirtley and Lester Plaskitt.

Ah, okay. I know Steve and I do remember that he usually has a few people with him when he comes into the room. I usually tend the bar there with Brad, so I'm sure we have met in passing then.
