Hi to all and a WIP Chasseur from MMM

    Hi to all on this great forum, I am new to figure painting having painted a couple of figures I have the bug and want to learn more. I recently bought mmm chasseur a cheval trumpeter where can I find reference for the uniform colours please.

    Thanks Nap for these. It is a full figure stood leaning on a wall 120mm. The uniform colours seem to vary by very colorful.

    A good start there , the reference Gordon gives is a great one to look at if you need anything from book that Kurt shows I have it

    If I might suggest the flesh is a little too light , have a look in the Articles section think there might be something there if not message me and I will e mail you something but there are threads here as well

    Hi Nap, thanks for the comments I think the face let's the figure down I used Vallejo to paint this. My lights above my workbench might be making it brighter I have 2 led lamps above the bench, but I agree the face is light. What do you think of the Andrea face paint set is it worth getting?

    Andrea ...I use Reaper and Jo Sonja paint but these sets are useful to some also have a insert so you might find them useful

    Hi, i have nearly completed the trumpeter. i have darkened the skin a touch, the trumpet and banner is supposed to hang around his neck and be down about knee height but i think this would take a lot attention from the figure does anyone have any suggestions please.
