Can't disagree with TV and Victorian 'noble savage' reductionism, nor modern cultural appropriation and I'm certainly not disparaging indigenous culture... from North America or anywhere else (and the Winnebago quip doesn't do that).

But as asked earlier, live links to sources would be useful (the Canadian Encyclopedia and links above don't help much in terms of costume etc).

Well, no matter the outcome, this dio is always "wrong". If the indian kills the cat the indian is an animal-hating-meat-addicted-male-chauvinist pig. If, however, the cat kills the indian he is a member of the bloodthursty murdering mob that whiped out the natives of America.

I've used "Magic Water" from Unreal Details in the past;

And have recently tried "Aqua Magic" from Deluxe Materials;

Both are excellent modelling aids, but I'm always looking for more options. So how long does the Vallejo products take to clarify then Hans?

Dolf; I used to work with acryl only but after reading all the info here on PF I now use oil & acrylics
Harry ; it takes about a day to dry depending on how thick the layers are. With the still water it's best to work in thin layers.

Sounds a bit like Woodland Scenics "Realistic Water" then. It also seems to take a day or two to clarify.
Magic Water is crystal clear when poured, unless you choose to tint it, and is great for still water. To depict running water, I've started using Aqua Magic for depth and then a layer or two of Magic water on top.
I'm now pretty interested in giving the Vallejo products a try for waterfall features though - your one certainly looks convincing.
