Troop54 put out this little gem a while ago and I missed it! So when it was re-released just around Christmas time, I jumped on the opportunity to pick it up. I haven't done 54mm figures for about 12 years, and have done two of them from Troop54 inside the last 3 months. This is why opt-visors were invented! Looking forward to picking a few more up soon.

I also went back after I took the pictures and added some mud and grime, so he is a little more dirty than he appears here. But not too much, I didn't spend all that time painting this uniform to cover it all up with mud!

Great painting, really amazing for this wonderful figures.
A litttle mistake, this soldier is not an Imperial Guardman, is an elite soldier of the line at the beginning of the Empire (end of Consulat-Italy campaign), Un Grenadier.Your figure is real jewel.

Thank you ANTO, I usually paint 75mm scale and larger so I get a lot of practice, but I'm glad you like this smaller figure. I think I will be painting more them in the future, so long as my eyes stay strong.

If Stuart at Troop 54 keeps this level of quality up, how can I not do more?

Thank you Zastrow, I'm grateful for the information as I haven't yet made up a name plate for him, so now it will be accurate. I'm pleased that you like the painting job.

I could not be here unfortunately.
    I am on duty.
Without revealing any secret, the situation is worsening on my small border, more drugs, more migrants, and the start of Brexit with all the British who live in Spain ....
A lot of work ... For small results ....
But still a few years and retirement .... So a show orgy(y)
