Just a technicality: the stated scale is 40mm but as from looking at the pics the watch is real size, so doesn't that make it full-scale (1:1)

Speaking of which: I've got my grandad's old half-hunter (nothing special, not really worth anything)... it would be interesting to see the figs with a real watch... rather like (my son's) Orc Watch-basher below

I assumed that the figures are the same scale as the watch... ie 1:1 (unless of course the watch is a 1/76 or 1/72 of a 6 feet/1.8 metre wide monster ).

My point (in fact a joke) is that we seem to have full scale models of 40mm high gnomes/Lilliputians* of whatever they are

But getting back to your query ref figure compatability: I suppose any 40mm figure with the right sort of proportions and style to fit in with the figures would work. However, 1/72 or 1/76 would surely be far too small (standing c22-25mm).

I measured..watch is 45mm total across case ..vs calibre in watch terms..and the little guys are 40 ground to eyes..hope that helps..

This is going to be in a sort of Alice in Wonderland setting with bright colors in a forest setting.
That's why I need the rabbit though a few Critter Kingdom animals (28mm) might also do the trick.

Nice...my mind sees the Gnomes of Zurich as the goldbug guys were known as back in the day...the trick will be to integrate the guys, bits, to make the pice bit more coherent than the box art version..it shows off the various elements but for my taste I’d like to cement the story angle with a focus of attention ..draw the eye into the watch...I might end up doing it for a jewellery store I used to design for..would make for an interesting cabinet display amongst some proper watch bling

That's a great idea, making it for a jewellery but I think I'll keep thisone. 90% of my military diorama's are bought by a museum (which is great since I got payed and can buy new stuff, Im done with WW1/WW2 ánd a lot of people can enjoy it now) so I've got more display-room .

I have her jewellery box piece as well..and probably can sell as many as I finish for the shop to customers. I’ve never been able todo the world war stuff..too meaningful for me, and now seems any lessons have been forgotten

Yep, that indeed seems sad but true but, compared to Europa, Canada seems rather peacefull and there's enough space to get "out of the heat". Been to Canada several years ago and visited the Khutzeymateen Grizzly reservation.

Has anyone made any progress with assembling this figure group?

The reason for asking is that I have attempted to start my purchase but have run into a problem with one of the figures and I am not sure if it is my lack of finesse or a problem with the figure casting.

The problem takes the form of short arms of the middle figure i.e. that holding the tray. The arms for that figure in my kit are of differing lengths and there is no way in which that figure's arms could be positioned to hold the tray. Yes, I have made sure that I am trying to fit the correct arms to the correct figure.

I have e-mailed the supplier but wondered if anyone had any experience with this kit?

Hi Dafdat, you triggered me. Wasn't there yet but I took a look and i.m.o. it's a matter of positioning. But I must admit that, at first sight, it's misleading. In the first picture the man is indeed quite disabled
In the second this get's worse but then the third.......
One arm is more bended then the other. Took a quick look how it would fit on the body and with the tray and I guess it'll work out fine (perhaps a little work and putty but that's not the worse )



It get's worse if you compare the two ..


But when you do it the other way around the difference is gone...
