That's a very clever piece of sculpting

Like the watch details and all the tools scattered about

I don't normally go for kits at such a small scale but this is so neat, it was irresistible! Nice sharp casting too.

Will post a pic open box..it’s crazy detail..am afraid to close the package once open for fear of damaging something..no idea how to paint it!..if anyone has some background on Nelly and her work..images of finished pieces..it’s very different, and most certainly a novel and exquisitely crafted part of the miniature spectrum.

Yep - I know what you mean having recently bought a couple of pieces from Nelly. Really nicely packed and very delicate

There is a French musician, watercolourist and miniature painter retailer who is notorious for lousy packing..Nelly is complete opposite. Hence wanted to give a shout out to her...

Sorry for the duplications..but you get the gist..the guys are 40mm with heads more to 80 or 90mm size as per gnomes..little Swiss watchmakers..even some tiny brass eyelets that mimic bits of an actual pocketwatch.

I agree that this is wonderful and great fun . I'll be very interested to follow any WIPs to see how you go about it.

Will do..much planning to do..I want the individual elements to integrate and not look stuck on..and am thinking there should be a measure of reflected object source light off the watch towards the little guys..for something costing little more than a 75 mm single piece there is one heck of a lot to do..playfactor for money is right up there..

Nice idea, great detail... I recently read a rather strange book title 'Swiftly' which built on Gulliver's Travels by having Lilliputian workers employed in 19th London for just this sort of detailed work (and Brobdingnagian giants as hulking great assault troops).

Not particularly recommending it (it is weird at times), but this vignette reminds me of it :)

Yep, lets do that LOL. I do have a queations. These guys are 40mm (?). Since I'm planning to add some extra's could 40mm be compared with the 1/76 scale (take or leave a mm?)
