We are little bored with the characters violently waving various sharpened pieces of iron In beautiful poses
So we gotta try something different.
The composition is a small sketch about the 16th century mercenary and a tavern girl. Creating this figures, we counted much that their story is not only about the 16th century people appearance and costume but they will also tell a little about the 16th century relationships between different classes and even sexes. In our opinion Stepan perfectly picked up poses and facial expressions! The composition contains some allegories describing the daily life of these people and some understatement leaves the viewer the opportunity to offer his own scenario.

I shall give a small explanation of the Idea))

Kitchen girl is tempted by mercenary. She tried to pick up an empty mug from the landsknecht but he moves away his right hand and catch her with his left)
And she didn`t know how to deal with that situation:
1. Break the jug over his head
2. Pretend that nothing happened
3. Encourage him

You can choose the end of that story by yourself.

Besides there is some inner meaning about that sculpture. For example the beer mug and the position of his ballock dagger (reminds something ) is the allegory to life with a lot of fun. And the shape of a column similar to a gibbet is a reference to Death which stands behind.

#MeToo...but in this case this stands for "yep, gonna get me one, me too!

How much is it by the way

That is an excellent release and we all already know that once Kirill sticks paint on it that it will become irresistible, a must have, wonderful sculpt.

Just love this pairing (And the allegories which are one of the sort of things I enjoy seeing in a vignette if subtly done like this) I don't usually paint 75's but might be tempted by these.

Any special reason why you want to send the price by PM rather than just add it to the thread so we can all see? (I'm always concerned when costs are not given since I can't think of any reason why they shouldn't be if the figure is available commercially) Just my opinion
