It is an imposing piece....with lots of superb detail to challenge the painter....not least of which the elephant itself

Received my copy of the kit from El Greco. El Greco always offer fast shipping and great customer services.
The kit is very impressive, well sculpted and casted, except on my elephant head piece. There are some chips along the edge of the collar.

Mine also had some chips around the edge....simply sanded them out....makes no difference to the figures seating.

For me it was a slight fringe of resin. Just put some fine sandpaper on tabletop and drew the cast across it.
No problem

Of course if you don't mind you can sand it out and lose chuck of details and make the depth thinner. But the original sculpt for the edge is curved in and has a thickness. On my casting it is paper thin and that's why it got chip off in different places.

You have to see this huge piece of cast resin to believe how beautifully designed, modelled and cast notwithstanding the subject matter, it's simply stunning!

Hi all RP models is bringing out 75mm complete Carthage war elephant, looks fantastic but I , like most prefer 54mm to go with majority of my collection. Does anyone know if they have a web site or email, only seem to find facebook which I do not use.
