This morning I have cleaned the piece up completely and done the filling as required, this was very minimal as the fit of parts is very good.
Again I have blue tacked the pieces of equipment in place for the purpose of the photos and setting the scene of the piece.
As I said in the first post,i will be working on some sort of backdrop, and this was going to include bamboo shoots.
I have created some bamboo with the help of wooden kebab sticks,i have created the effect of the bamboo with the help of my mini drill this morning.
PLEASE NOTE ! - the bamboo will have shoots and leaves added,i want to create the effect of the sniper moving through some concealed foliage to find his sniper spot,i have added different angles for the bamboo,as they never all grow straight and vertical.
the next stage will be to finalise the sanding down of the filled areas and to begin the priming, together with work on the bamboo shoots / leaves.
Ive already got a good feel about this piece so everything should be straight forward now.

Thank you Andrew,I have deliberately left spaces between the bamboo so his equipment can still be see when painted and the uniform from the front

Hi mate,I don't remember it,but I can imagine,I'm not overly bothered about the nodes, what I have made still gives the impression of bamboo although not 100% accurate
