A good selection Kev. Have you considered trying the Cuirassier or Cuirassier General from this range. Would be interesting to see what you make of them.

    Cheers

I have Napoleonic ....including the Cuirassier General , think the first Napoleonic might be Napoleons page as I like the green with the bees but will definately do others

these are the Napoleonic I have in line ready

    image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

Also have the Egyptian campaign infantry but converted that to a drummer

This is the Cuirassier General you mentioned

    image.jpeg

I am currently working on the priest , had a helmet on but changed it

Also realised there is one from WW1 I haven't got ..a pilot ..but this has great conversion potential

    image.jpeg

    All pics are from Historex

I said it before but these are real fun to do ..great to bring the mojo back IMO

    Thanks for looking in

It is good to paint some thing other than your chosen period (like vikings) Ì have not painted for a while cos of the heat but have a few on the back burner.

Question: Did you paint a cast shadow over the Dragoon's eyes or is that just the natural lighting?

Thanks for the reply. I have such trouble with eyes, especially now that my own are getting older, that I was thinking of hiding the them a bit by painting cast shadows on figures that have deep-brimmed head coverings. But I always thought that would be regarded as an unacceptable practice.

Those are all really neat looking little busts that all look very well painted...might be nice to see what 1/15 scale is for those who can't relate the scale to a wine bottle cork.....:)
