    Hello Folks

Sculpted by Maurice Corry for me is this 120mm scale resin figure of a WW1 british infantryman in the reverse arms position. It was initially designed for the cold cast bronze market but I have a few kit versions available. These are on offer to PF members at £30.00 per kit which includes postage in the UK. Postage for overseas is an additional £5.00

Payment is by Paypal via Friends & Family using my email gordonmi@hotmail.com
When making payment please add the message 'WW1 reverse arms' along with your address.
    Cheers
    Gordon

I was going to do one of these in 200mm in 2014, but no-one seemed interested. I hope this does well.

200mm would be very impressive Mike. As we both know it's knowing how many sales you could count on to justify production which is a problem for all kit producers.
Ive attached some pics I did of a bronzed effect version
    Cheers

Looks superb. I would add the poem - "They grow not old as we that are left grow old........" as an option.

I like the idea of the badges Kev but I think the old regimental cap badges would be hard to get now and they have changed quite a bit over the years. I'll check it out.

It's in Stone, Staffordshire, Gordon - at the top of the High Street, opposite the Crown and Anchor and in front of what was the Post Office, which is now a Weatherspoons!!(y) When I was at school, there were 22 pubs between school and home.....!!

    Hi Gordon,
I love that piece as a bronze very, very effective a stand alone piece in it's own right. Gives loads of options for basing up as a war memorial tribute and various weathering options. Mate contact the British Legion and various other museums and I'm sure you would have no problem wearing out moulds as a cold cast version. Love it.(y)

Now do a Victorian version with a Home or Foreign Service helmet.:p
    cheers
    Richie
P.S. a Senior Service version would be great too.;) I would definitely buy one of those as a cold cast. There's your first order mate.

    Thanks for this Richie
I won't be getting directly involved in the cold cast bronzing but its a great idea and I will pass this on.
The Royal Navy does not seem to get much attention on war memorials and the only statue I remember seeing is the one in Keighley which is miles from the sea. I know the RN Divisions fought in the trenches alongside army units.
The Victorian version is not a bad idea buddy.
Might see you at North Shields on Sunday?
    Cheers
