    Hello Folks
I've taken a few pics of the 5 x piece diorama sculpted for me by Carl Reid in 120mm. I've added a French line lancer trooper from another Carl Reid sculpt which was part of 'The Clash' duo. I've set up the Black Watch figures per the original idea by Carl but they can be moved to suit the modellers requirements. I think the Lancer fits quite well with these figures.
I have had a number of requests for individual figures from the Black Watch set and will be making these available soon.
    Cheers

Totally crazy! Well done ...the scale and proportion make much more statement than 54mm..it’s why I hope for my 54th vignette to be big...painting will be challenging to say the least..each figure has to be done separately, but really done as though it’s part of the whole so bits are highlighted and others left darker..so it works as one..

Great news that they will be available individually, I would think even a couple of the Highlanders posed with the French Lancer would make a stunning centrepiece to any collection.
    I'll be watching with interest...

Wow.....Very impressive work....I have a collection of Chilmark pewter mostly by Michael Boyett, and Carl Reids work is just as good if not better. The only difference is the cost and it's a sculpt that you're able to paint. Check out Michael Boyett if you're curious, not much is hidden from the internet. Michael passed a few years ago.

'Flat out for Red River Station' is one of my favourites pieces from the late Michael Boyett. Great sculpts.

A marvellous set - could easily be used for a Quatre Bras vignette. It could also possibly be combined with a Dutch Lancer or a cuirassier for a Waterlooo scene.

    Thanks for researching this Huw.
I like the idea of adding a cuirassier or red lancer to the scene once I get the chance.

Excellent group of figures that will take a while to complete but the finished item will be stunning, although the Lancer was sculpted as part of a different group the scale seems to match the Black Watch figures which is unusual part perfect in this case, I recently searched the web and accumulated about 5 120mm Verlinden knights to put together an Agincourt group and none of the 5 figures could be matched so hats of to Carl and the addition of a second mounted figure to compliment this would place this in the spectacular bracket.

A suicidal lancer attacks a group of mad jocks - I know who my money would be on! Think of all that government sett (tartan) to paint!
