It looks very nice Mike What do you intend to do with it when finished.

Interestingly it was the 2nd Battalion's Colour which was trooped in 2016 ( as shown).

I will probably try and pose the subaltern with the ensign staff either vertical with its tip on the ground or resting on his shoulder. I will have to paint/ink in 44 battle honours on each side - although how I will do the longer ones, even with a very fine tip, remains an issue. Transfers (decals) might have been an option, as on your drum banners, but I lack the knowledge to do so.

The pose will be a difficult one as the Figure is at ease and the Colour is unfurled. the two dont seem to go together.

Did you also sculpt the finial for the staff? I would like to do these myself at some point, do you have references/scale drawings you'd be willing to share?
    cheers,
    Scotty.

    Hi Mike,

As the parading troops pass the saluting base in quick time the Colour is let fly. Looks very impressive on a windy day but can be a problem for the Ensign to gather it in again after the 'eyes front' command is given. Very impressive piece of work from you by any standard. Good luck with "N. W. Europe 1940 '44-45" in that scale!
