Predominantly oils [ W&N ] over Humbrol for cloth, oils on acrylic for leather, metal and flesh

This is what it’s all about. Stands without needing a story ...evokes something universal..takes an exceptional sculpt and as exceptional painter..both having the mastery to know when to stop...sometimes we get aide memoires of a scene or battle...rarely the stand alone conveyance of emotion...
Full disclosure...my piece just arrived this morning...so am in in full awe of the finished piece and of Jon’s exceptional kit...

I agree,. but how do you pronounce the word "poignancy" and actually what does it mean? I may have to use it against my wife someday.

One of the best painted figures that I have observed on this site over the past twelve months. Wow.

I'm glad you're liking Jon's sculpt. Figures are so much easier to paint when the face is good and the casting is flawless. I had virtually no clean up on this kit.
