    Hello folks,
I bought few figures from Front Rank figurines to be converted to French Officers of various regiments, the good thing aboit Yorktown is that they brought many volunteers from regiments from the outposts at the caribbean, especially officers.
So, i may include some of them to be placed along the 4 diorama squares.

I clipped the head , built the stand up collar , placed the head back.
Got rid of the sash and long lapels, re-did the lapels and one side of the coat.
Still lots of work and little details to come, but he definitely has a more "French look " on its uniform... 20171206_222648.jpg

Finished one of the officers, lettimg the putty cure till tomorrow and will prime the figure.
I have started the other figure, making one of my favorite corps, a dragoon, more likely a Belsunce dragoon officer 20171207_215059.jpg 20171207_215103.jpg 20171207_215113.jpg 20171207_224555.jpg

I added the buttons on the cuffs, lapels and added one more button below the right lapel, generally the infantry umiforms had 3 large buttons below the right lapel, but these Frenchies comicate my life and decided to have 4 large buttons below the right lapel for these foreign vomunteers.
I am painting the 2nd company , their uniforms were light sky blue and lemon yellow cuffs and lapels.
The collar for the 2nd company was white, yellow for the 1st and red for the 3rd.
The turnbacks were grey without any ornaments.

I have finished the vest and troussers.
I've used astronomical grey from Formula P3 as base color , added a little bit of Tamiya X-21 flat base.
For the first lights i 've used vallejo stone grey only ( pic 1) well diluted.
For the 2nd lights i added white to to the stone grey ( pic 2), last lights added more white ( pic 3).

Yes, i generally do touch ups later on all around, it makes a difference to get away from the figure and look at it a day after and drcide if you want to go further or not.
It works better for me lol
